Accessibility

Everyone deserves to find their next favorite book. I want this store to work for every reader — including readers who browse with screen readers, keyboard navigation, magnification, captions, or any other assistive tech.

What this store does

• The storefront is built on Shopify's Ride theme, which uses accessible patterns for navigation, forms, and interactive elements: skip links, keyboard-operable menus and galleries, and labeled controls.
• My target standard is WCAG 2.2 Level AA, the current international guideline for web accessibility.
• Product images carry written descriptions (alt text) so covers, bundles, and merch are described for screen-reader users, and new listings are audited for this on an ongoing basis.
• Checkout is hosted by Shopify, which publishes its own accessibility conformance report — see Shopify's accessibility page.

Known limitations

This is a very small studio with a large catalog. A few older images and graphics are still being updated with fuller descriptions, and I review the store regularly to keep improving. If something here doesn't work with your assistive tech, that's a bug — and I want to fix it.
