You are invited to the Harvest Festival.

Every autumn in the world of The King's Weaver, the palace throws open its doors for the Harvest Festival. This year I am holding one too, and there is a seat at the table with your name on it!

From September 1 to October 24, every print order fills a seat in the great hall. And every signed print order ships straight from my hands with a brand new King's Weaver bookmark and your printed invitation to the festival tucked inside. (Unsigned copies ship direct from the printer, so the goodies can't ride along!)

When we hit milestones in how many seats are filled, we'll unlock mystery goodies for everyone!

And on Saturday, October 24 at 1 PM Pacific (4 PM Eastern), we'll gather in a video call to celebrate the queer and trans fantasy romance books that make up the Kingdom of Barella. No invitation or order needed to join us, everyone is welcome. The invitation is yours to keep.

Do I need to buy anything to be part of the festival?

Nope — everyone's already in! The party on October 24 is open to all, and when the hall hits a milestone, the mystery goodie unlocks for everyone, whether you ordered or not. No sign-up, no form, no purchase required.

So what fills the seats?

Print books! Any series, any book, paperback or hardcover — every print order placed September 1 to October 24 fills one more seat in the great hall, and you'll see it light up gold right here on this page.

More full seats means more milestones, and more milestones means more goodies for all of us.

What comes with my order?

If you choose a signed copy, it ships straight from my hands with a brand new King's Weaver bookmark and your printed festival invitation tucked inside.

(Unsigned copies ship direct from the printer, so the goodies can't ride along!)

I've already read them in ebook or audio — do print copies still count?

They do! A print copy fills a seat even if you've already read the book. Upgrade your shelf! 📚

I pre-ordered a book a while back — does that fill a seat?

Seats are filled by print orders placed during the festival — September 1 to October 24. Orders from before September 1 (including pre-orders) don't fill seats, but a print pre-order placed during the festival does!

And either way, you're invited: the party is open to everyone, and milestone goodies unlock for everyone too.

When's the party, and how do I get the link?

Saturday, October 24 at 1 PM Pacific (4 PM Eastern) — we gather on Zoom to celebrate the queer and trans fantasy romance books of the Kingdom of Barella. Everyone's welcome, seat or no seat.
